All of our Trinity family are very important to us. Trinity wishes to make sure that each member of our family knows of our prayers and good wishes for them, especially in times of need or crisis. Especially in these critical times, we want our family members to feel connected to and supported by their Church family.
When a "Trinitarian", friend or loved one is hospitalized, incapacitated or is otherwise unable to attend Church services or activities, the clergy and volunteers are most happy and priveleged to visit wherever needed. Communion, the Sacrament of Anointing and the Sacrament of Reconciliation are available when a priest visits. Lay volunteers may distribute Communion from the Reserved Sacrament in the Church. All visitors from the church may offer prayer and news of Trinity. Trinity may be able to assist in many other ways as well...let us know!
If you or someone that you know would like a visit by one of the parish priests or a lay volunteer, please let us know by contacting the Church Office at 225-387-0396. We are happy to schedule a visit at a time convenient for the person in need. Visits may occur once or several times (as in a hospital stay or brief illness), or they may be for a short-term period or regular in frequency as is needed.
NOTE: WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN OUR PARISHIONERS ARE IN THE HOSPITAL. BECAUSE OF HEALTHCARE PRIVACY LAWS, TRINITY CHURCH WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE AUTOMATICALLY NOTIFIED WHEN ONE OF ITS MEMBERS IS IN THE HOSPITAL. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU OR ANOTHER MEMBER IS IN THE HOSPITAL SO THAT WE CAN ARRANGE FOR A VISIT. YOU MAY CONTACT THE CHURCH OFFICE AT 225-387-0396.
