Music is a very integral part of the worship at Trinity Church. Trinity features a very fine adult choir and handbell choirs. We try to maintain a high standard of quality, doing many different styles of music and using a variety of instruments in worship.
ADULT CHOIR rehearses September through June on Wednesdays 7:30-9:00 pm and leads the worship on Sundays at 10:45 am.
FAMILY CHOIR meets in July and August for ages 10 and up, at 10:00 am, and leads the 10:45 am service.
LADIES HANDBELL ENSEMBLE rehearses each Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm and plays frequently throughout the year.
If you are intersted in joining any of the Choirs at Trinity, please contact our Choir Master and Music Director, Mrs. Elvia Hammett Parsons

Choir Notes (Reflections on choir ministry by choir members):
I am Mary Welsh, a member of the choir. I joined it to help out in the Summer of 1963, and have been in it on a continuous basis ever since! Our choir is a lot like a family, and enjoy singing together. LSU voice students sing regularly with us and help us to "make a joyful noise to the Lord". We all sing and work together under the able direction of Elvia Parsons, our Choir Master, who is a joy to work with, and an accomplished musician. By the way, we do have fun as well!
