The death of a loved one or friend can be a very stressful and emotional time and yet certain arrangements for funerals, memorials and burials must be made. In the event of a death, the parish should be notified as soon as possible. Please contact Ellen Cockrell, Parish Administrator, or one of the parish priests, at Trinity (225-387-0396).
If it is desired that a member of the clergy from Trinity Church participate in the funeral, memorial service or burial, or that the church be used for any services, the parish requests that arrangements for a funeral, memorial service or burial NOT be made without first consulting the parish clergy member participating (or the parish if the Church will be used for any service). This is to ensure that the clergy person and/or church will be available as needed and that proper plans for an Episcopal service are made.
The parish may be able to assist families and friends of the deceased in planning religious services, music, visitations and service programs. Please let us know how we can help if we are needed.
