CHRISTIAN FORMATION AND GENERAL WORSHIP
Acolytes—Young people who serve as crucifers, torchbearers, and assist the priest during the worship service, helping to deepen their faith through service during worship. Contact Father Peter.
Altar Guild—Volunteers who care for the altar, vestments, vessels and altar linens. Prepare the sanctuary for services, and clean up afterwards. Contact Mary Hoy at hoysrus@att.net.
Choir—singers present traditional music for the Sunday service as well as other seasonal offerings. Practices are held on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Room. Contact Sam at skohler@trinitybr.org.
Christian Education and Spiritual Formation Ministry-- works with the clergy in developing and promoting Christian education for all age groups. Contact Father Peter for more information.
Flower Guild—volunteers have the responsibility for arranging and placement of flowers for worship and special services. Contact Emily Wilbert at emilywilbert321@gmail.com.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers—lay person licensed by the bishop to aid the clergy at the altar and administer the consecrated elements of the eucharist. Contact Father Peter.
Lay Readers/Lector—person trained in reading scripture lessons. Psalms and leading the prayers of the People during Eucharistic services. Contact Kim Musgrove at kimmus@cox.net
Men’s Bible Study Group—this group meets at 7:00 a.m. every Tuesday, to study scripture and build relationships with other parishioners. Contact Aub Ward at aubward@gmail.com.
Morning Glory Band—Contemporary music is provided on the 2nd Sunday each month, by singers and instrumentalists. If you play an instrument or love to sing. Contact Susan Brewer at sbpamus@aol.com.
Parent’s and Parishioner’s Bible Study Group—this group meets at 8:30 a.m. every Tuesday, to study scripture and build relationships between TEDS parents and Trinity’s parishioners. Contact Father Peter for more information.
Sunday School Greeters—volunteers greet the children attending Sunday School each Sunday, and direct them to the correct classrooms. Between 8:45 and 9:00. A wonderful way to meet and get to know the children in our congregation. Contact Father Peter.
Ushers—Greet people as they arrive for the service, hand out bulletins, and assist those with special needs. They facilitate the collection of the offering, and tidy up after the service. Contact Lucius Butts at lbutts@transfinancialco.com
Youth Group-- engages middle/high school students, and their families, in all aspects of church life in addition to providing service projects, programs, and retreats specifically for youth. Contact Darren or Alisha Hudman at the church office.

MISSION AND OUTREACH
Blooms for You---volunteers take bouquets from the altar flowers from the previous Sunday to parishioners who are homebound, in nursing homes or ill. Contact Susan Brewer at sbpamus@aol.com.
Feeding the Sheep—with the help of the Day School, Trinity gathers food each week to supply the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless. Food may be dropped off in the Church office.
Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank—volunteer to help pack up food packages at various times of the year. Contact Ruth Barnes at ruthsb2000@gmail.com
Garden Angels-- take care of God’s creation on the campus by caring for the flowerbeds and our pet memorial garden, ensuring the neatness of the grounds. Contact Kevin Portz at kevingportz@gmail.com
Holy Grill—Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge-- serving food to the needy at Cadillac Street Park for two weeks a year, in Interfaith’s annual Christmas Giving Tree, and by participating in the Hunger Walk. Contact Jennifer Johnson at time4tennis@bellsouth.net
Project Parole—Supports individuals who have served more than 20 years in prison advocating for their releases. We support our clients by providing advocacy and direct representation while incarcerated, transitional housing and services and programming upon their release. Social Media Team—this team is responsible for producing the weekly live stream video of the Sunday morning worship service that is shared on on the webpage, YouTube, and Facebook for those who cannot make it to the in-person worship. Trinity Episcopal Day School—the largest ministry at Trinity. It provides academic excellence in a Christian enviroment nurturing the whole child, for Pre-K 3 through 5th grade children. Opportunities for Parishioners include School Chapel on Thursday mornings @ 8:30 for Pre-k, and 9:00 for the other classes, the Monthly Reader program, where volunteers read to small groups in different classes, and Spirit Day, always on the last Wednesday of the month, sometimes with a cookout in the evening, volunteers can help serve and visit with parents and children too! Vestry--is the elected governing body of the parish. The Vestry is composed of the Rector, the Treasurer and twelve parish members of Trinity. Members serve a 3 year term.
PASTORAL CARE
Caring Committee-- volunteers who take meals on a rotating basis to parishioners and school families after a birth, during an illness or after an accident. Daughter’s of the King—an order of laywomen who serve to extend Christ’s Kingdom through prayer, service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ’s Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of the parish. Contact Dennise Hochenedel at d.hochenedel@gmail.com
Prayer Shawl Ministry-prayer shawls are given to people who are ill, injured or who might be uplifted by being surrounded by a shawl filled with prayers.
